What can make your bike rides and cycling goals even more fun and successful? The answer is all the tips, tools and support you’ll find at the Trek Bike Expo on February 8 at the Trek La Mesa store.
Along with getting you and your bike set up to ride better, longer and faster you can meet the Trek Ride Guides who will be taking hundreds of riders on a 14 week tour of San Diego’s spectacular bike riding routes to build up to riding 103 miles on May 19.
Put Trek Bike Expo into your calendar for February 8, 2012 from 6-8 pm, and also mark your calendar for the first group ride with the Trek Ride Guides on February 18 on Fiesta Island in San Diego (this first ride is good for both beginners and experienced riders, everyone is welcome). These are two great venues to get primers on all the biking and group riding basics, and also set yourself up for a new cycling goal, no matter your level.
Here are a few of the things you’ll find at the Bike Expo when you and your bike make the trip:
- Bike Safety Checks from Trek mechanics
- Bike Fit Checks from a USA Cycling licensed coach
- Bike Education Stations to learn more about bike maintenance, nutrition & hydration, fixing & changing flats, what to wear during a century ride and many more details on the Century Training program that kicks off on February 18.
- Trek Ride Guides will also be there to meet you and help with any questions about the Century Training program.
We hope to see you there!
