HYDRATION/NUTRITION TIPS & PREPARE FOR HOT WEATHER ON SATURDAY

Please prepare to manage the heat for your ride! The forecast is for hot weather on the 107 mile course so bring 3 water bottles and plenty of sun protection. Please watch http://sdcentury.com and the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/sandiegocentury for weather updates. We added 2 additional water stations for 68 and 107 mile riders and you can see those on the interactive course maps.

107 mile riders, please start as close to 6am as possible to help manage the heat.

AID STATION OVERVIEW:
The aid stations have PowerBar, pretzels, trail mix, bananas, oranges, PB&J, along with water, sports drink & ice. If you’re doing the 107 mile route there are additional sub sandwiches at the Ramona aid station along with snacks as above. The distances between aid stations are 18-25 miles depending on the course. Also, each rider gets $5 in food coupons for your choice from the food trucks at the finish.
